3. What is MHR?
MHR is a secure online summary of a persons’ important health information that can be shared between health care providers involved in their care.
It gives you and your health care provider access to information about your health care that you previously may not have been able to see.

Diagnostic imaging reports 
Prescriptions and dispense information

5. Who is getting a MHR? EVERYONE!!

6. Who Controls MHR?
To access your MHR you need to use your MyGov username and password.
You are in control of who can access your information.
Authorised representatives and full access nominated representatives also have the ability to change the access controls of your My Health Record.

7. Privacy
You are able to nominate which individuals or Healthcare Providers have access to your profile.
You are able to monitor who has accessed or updated your My Health Record through the access history.

The access history can be obtained either online or by calling the System Operator on

Access – Wherever you go the information will be with you in a secure location.
Convenience/Efficiency – medication, immunisations, family history, etc
Safety – emergency situations, particularly in situations where one is incapacitated.
