Division of Transplantation (DoT) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Organ Donation and Transplantation Program National Marrow/Blood Stem Cell/Cord Blood Donor Program Little DoT, small o in the middle so as not to be confused with BIG DOT. The Department of Transportation. We are the focal point for transplantation, organ, and bone marrow/blood stem cell policies within the Federal government.

A dynamic collaboration of: Donation Community: Hospital development and public relations staff at organ, eye, and tissue donation organizations Hospitals: Public relations and other staff in the nation’s hospitals Modeled after LOPA/LHA, Michigan, and others

National Partners were recruited (8) The Leadership Team (LT) was identified and provides guidance Calls with National Partners helped identify enrollment, communication, and recognition strategies Learning Session (LS) calls began in October

Posting campaign materials and information on their websites Sending blasts to their members Placing announcements/articles in newsletters Posting on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, RSS feeds Sending a message from the organization’s president/CEO Messaging in employee signature blocks Webinars Presentations at national conferences Targeting trade publications (specific providers) Copying toolkit onto CD and sending to all organization members Disseminating press releases Reaching out to state and metropolitan hospital associations Hospital Campaign National Partners reach thousands of hospital, healthcare, and transplant professionals.
