3. Who qualifies for dual enrollment?
Our expectations:
3.00 gpa, cumulative (Stevens: 2.0)
For most programs, at least 1000 combined score on PSATs
Counselor recommendation
Each program has the right to set its own requirements for admission
Students apply to the program

5. process Verify eligibility Research the options Apply
Communicate with an advisor at the college
Enroll in courses, pay for courses
Submit course list to Guidance and schedule study time (2 periods per 1 course)
All communication about coursework and issues related to the program get directed to the college/program
Make sure that we receive your transcript/grades at the completion of the course

6. Important information
When a student takes a college course, he/she is a college student and needs to act as one.
Students must stick to deadlines, including application deadlines, payment due dates, and coursework deadlines.
Core courses carry the weight of an ap course, but elective courses do not.
Gpa is not weighted.
Earned college credit is accepted at the discretion of the receiving college (check!)
For each course you take through dual enrollment, you schedule two periods for study time.
You must sign in and out of the office and the cyber café (or library) every day!
