Shape and One Point Perspective Project

Step 1: Make a 3-D Box out of Poster Board
First: Draw a 9 inch line horizontally at the top of your poster board. USE A RULER AND MAKE SURE YOUR LINE IS STRAIGHT!! MEASUREMENTS AND STRAIGHT LINES ARE VERY IMPORTANT FOR THIS PROJECT!!!!

Step 2: 1-Place your ruler at the top left corner of the line you just drew and draw a 29 inch straight line vertically going down. 2-Repeat on right side. 3-Connect Lines by drawing a line horizontally. Should also measure 9 inches long.

Step 3: Place your ruler again at the top left side of your rectangle going downward. At 12 inches put a DOT. Then place your ruler horizontally again at the top left corner, measure 2 inches (going away from rectangle) and place a DOT. From that DOT measure 12 inches vertically, going downward and place another DOT. Make sure your ruler is parallel to your rectangle. Connect the Dots using a straight line. REPEAT ON OTHER SIDE.

Step 4: Place your ruler vertically, going downward at the bottom left dot of the first rectangle you made. Measure 2 inches and place a dot. Repeat on other side. Connect those dots. Making a 2x9 inch retangle.

Step 5: Place your ruler vertically at the lowest dot on the left side of your rectangle. Measure down 12 more inches and place a dot. Repeat on other side. Connect dots with a horizontal line.

Step 6: Mark a DOT at the bottom of your line on both sides. SHOULD measure 2 inches on both sides and 9 inches across. Go back and check all your measurements. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT MEASUREMENTS ARE CORRECT AND LINES ARE STRAIGHT AND PARALLEL.
