5 #SBDCDay March 22, The committee chose Wednesday, March 22, 2017, as our first #SBDCDay, based on the date the SBDC legislation was introduced, although in future years the date may change to coincide more closely with our Spring Legislative Outreach meeting.

6 Purpose & Goal Purpose To promote and celebrate SBDC assistance to millions of small businesses Goal To raise awareness of America’s SBDC network at the national, state and local level

7 Objective To create national buzz about the impact of America’s SBDC network by coordinating effort on social media, traditional media, and live events with every state and territory in our network

8 Marketing Campaign The Marketing & Communications Committee is hard at work creating the structure of the campaign and preparing a toolkit filled with content, messaging templates, and tools to measure effectiveness. 11 Volunteer Roles As a volunteer, the committee is relying on you to the lead the coordination and serve as the point of contact for your state/region. *It is very important that you communicate and coordinate your events with your State/Region's State Director.
