Major Repairs and Improvements in 2015: Paving of All Cotswolds Roads Small Pool Repair Clubhouse HVAC Repair New Treadmills & Fan in Clubhouse Security Cameras in Clubhouse & Pool Area Major Outlays for 2016 Large Pool Repair Repainting Clubhouse Wood Trim and Iron Fence Replacing Pool Fence Improvement of Walking Trail

4 Financial Report Please help us cut costs! This provides more money to improve our community. Areas to cut costs are: Keep temperature at reasonable level in clubhouse Turn lights off in clubhouse when not in use Refrain from damaging pool facilities and equipment Refrain from damaging clubhouse facilities and furniture Follow pool rules to reduce need for security

5 Financial Report Long Term Goals
Playground Basketball Goal Pad Of note, some long term goals may be rendered unnecessary by the Vestavia Community Park under construction next to The Cotswolds.

6 ARC Committee Report Goals:
To keep home values at a maximum To keep our community’s families and residents in mind To balance the needs of the individual with the needs of the community. If you are going to make a change to your home, please get ARC approval first. Use the website to submit your ARC Approval Request.

7 Landscaping Since the resident-turnover, significant improvements have been made in the mowing of common areas. Major common areas are mowed regularly Unused lots are mowed on a monthly or quarterly basis as needed, with the edges mowed more frequently. The purpose of mowing the common areas is to improve appearance and prevent rodents and reptiles.

8 Landscaping Mowing Our Banks
To help promote safety and appearance, residents with grassy banks that face other homes have been asked to mow their banks during the growing months. Whether a resident has a bank that needs mowing is a case-by-case basis. There are many exceptions. Please ask a Board Member if your bank needs to be mowed during the growing months.

9 Pool Update Small pool repairs completed. Large pool repairs forthcoming. The need for security and its proven success. Importance of Pool Rules Many are required by the County Promote safety and enjoyment for all residents Allow for a family-friendly atmosphere

10 Improvements to Pool & Clubhouse
Currently getting quotes for other companies to clean and maintain pool Currently getting quotes for new fence, new gate, and painting the pool area. Security cameras have been installed at pool and in clubhouse.

Provides community news, a discussion forum, and community announcements Report any issues or problems using the links on the website. Submit Clubhouse Rental Requests with the website Let us know if you have any news you would like to share with the community! We love supporting our neighbors!

12 Beautification Committee
The Board has recently established a Beautification Committee to promote the beauty of our neighborhood and celebrate those residents who bring beauty to our community. Monthly or quarterly “Best Yard” awards. The committee will help with the appearance of pool and entrances to help reduce landscaping costs.
