IB originated in Geneva, Switzerland in 1965
IB Americas office is located in Bethesda, Maryland
There are currently 4,562 IB World Schools in 136 countries
There are 1,769 IB Programs in the United States, including Diploma Program, Career-related Program, Middle Years Program, and Primary Years Program (we have all four in our district!)
Each year, approximately 80% of the students who attempt the IB Diploma earn it.
