What is Remote Car Jamming?
When a person leaves their vehicle(s) e.g. at parking and pushes the remote to activate the locking and alarm system, a criminal pushes a similar remote(or device) at the same time effectively blocking the signal of the locking remote. This is called remote jamming, car jamming or carjam.

* Be aware of your surroundings at all times.
* Check that the vehicle is locked by physically testing the door before walking away.
* Ensure the boot is locked.
* Never leave items of interest lying in full view on car seats while driving or when leaving your car parked.
* Park your car in a secure car parking where there are lots of other vehicles and ideally, security personnel.
* Lock your car when driving and when leaving it parked.
* Close windows when in slow moving traffic at all times.
* Store valuable items in boot immediately when leaving the office or home (avoid storing such valuable item while in full view of the public).
