6 Pros and Cons of HE (Higher Education) courses
Achieving more qualifications at higher levels could mean a higher pay and it makes you more likely to get the job. University gives you the opportunity to become an expert in what you're studying and you don’t have to pay your fee back until you earn over 15,000. However, that is a very large debt to pay back. There may be a decline in careers in that sector on the year you graduate, that you were not aware about when enrolling.

7 Work experience Camera shop in Brixham where you can buy new or old cameras and also get passport and licence photos taken. NOTE: you need to a professional from the industry to find out what skills they recommend and how they entered the industry- do this now!

8 Pros and Cons of Work experience
Work experience will give you an introduction to what your future job would be and what you would be doing so you know what to expect. It will train you so you’re ready and be successful and get the job you want. Can get a job working on computers and Photoshop but also photography either for events, magazine or a website. Does an Apprenticeship constitute as work experience?

9 Training Trainign in a media based job local to you. You can do work experience for a lot of businesses taking photos of products and uploading them to their website. At Lovell Soccer/Lovell Rugby you can take photos of all the gear and edit them on Photoshop and upload to them to their website. This is good training and practice for a future job in media. Sells football and rugby equipment and kit through their website, there is a lot of media based work to get all the photos onto the website and editing the website.

10 Pros and Cons of Training
You can get a lot of experience and training in taking photos with different angles and different lighting. Also you can get a lot of experience on Photoshop editing the photos to make them stand out and look good. You will learn through experience the best ways to take and edit a photo in different scenarios so each one. Of them will look good. It could be bad though as you may not understand and get it all completely wrong and struggle to improve on your own.

11 Conclusion A HE course could be a good choice as you will be learning how to correctly use all equipment and programmes but only to a certain extent. There would still be a lot of useful skills and techniques they wouldn't’t have taught you. But achieving the degree would be likely to get you a job. Work experience is also good as you will get taught the best ways to do work with cameras and Photoshop and how to use them affectively for the photo you have taken. Training will teach you many ways to take photos and edit them but work experience will be the best as you will learn the most and have experience having a job in the media industry.
