8 Year 12 Subject teachers’ and tutors’ role – engage in 1-2-1 meetings.
Students should engage in opportunities to widen their skills and knowledge in year 12. Read outside the curriculum and do online courses such as MOOCs. Take part in University pathways programmes if eligible.

9 Researching progression options
Look at UCAS course search for higher and further education options Speak to Mrs Norris – careers advisor Look at getting work experience in a field which is relevant to what they want to do in the future

10 Subject skills Make sure that they work hard in year 12 so that teachers write a good reference Ask for feedback from teachers Revise for PPE exams Reflect on what skills they have developed and what they have enjoyed and keep a log in preparation for writing personal statements in year 13

14 Wider participation We expect all students to develop their personal profile while in the sixth form. There are 3 main ways they can do this: Extra-curricular activities - Activities that give breadth to their profile Super curricular activities – Activities that give depth to their chosen specialised areas Work experience – 25 hours by the Easter Holidays
