3 What is puberty Gonadotropin: When your body reaches a certain age, your brain releases a special hormone that starts the changes of puberty Puberty is the process of physical changes through which a child's body matures into an adult body capable of sexual reproduction to enable fertilization

4 When does it start? Girls: puberty usually starts some time between age 7 and 13 Boys: puberty usually starts some time between age 9 and 15 Some people start puberty a bit earlier or later. Everyone is different
