Practise solving mathematical problems using mental maths skills - addition and subtraction problems.
Measures – units of measurement for weight and capacity. Using scales and containers accurately to weigh items and measure amounts of liquid.
Fractions – recognise, name, find and write ½, ¼, ¾, 2/4, 1/3 of shapes and of quantities.
Increase rapid recall of multiplication and then associated division facts.
Properties of 2D and 3D shapes.
Working out the missing value of any digit in a number sentence using all four operations. Using the inverse operation as a means to check an answer to a problem.
