2 Who would be the audience for your media product?
At the start of the project we had a clear vision that we wanted to reach out to teenage girls, hence the reasons why we gathered audience feedback from this age group. This was because we as the producers of the film were most in touch with this age group so could align with this audience in a more effective way than other audience groups. While creating the film in order for us to make sure this group was interested we felt that it was necessary to align the audience with the female character; the protagonist by seeing the drama unfold through her perspective, and making her the victim to the storyline. Other thriller films that incorporate a female protagonist is 'The Hand That Rocks The Cradle' We also made sure that we built tension for this audience group but not knowing too much about the male character and not being aware of the reasons why he felt the need to stalk her. This therefore led in the audience becoming more interested and engaged in the story and therefore this created enigma. Highlighting a key convention of the thriller genre. By making the storyline about a stalking situation we felt that this would be the best way to reach out to the teenagers as it was a storyline we felt that they could connect to and feel most attached with. This was due to many young girls fears of being stalked; we gathered this through doing a survey we made on teenage girl on the topic of ‘what are you most fearful of happening to you?’, therefore we were able to build tension and suspense from this first idea. Overall, as we have now completed our media project, we feel that due to the storyline, the production and the enigma created through the film and also the way the film is presented through the website, we were able to attract and engage the audience type we wanted to. The film certification that our film would be is a 12. This is because it may include moderate violence, and a dark and unsettling atmosphere.

3 How did you attract/address your audience?
To attract our audience further we made sure that our website wasn’t to text heavy this would therefore make it easier to read and wouldn’t take lots of time. This would help attract our audience. Also getting the audience feedback from our age group such as - Adding a bit more violence, and a more effective climax to the film, helped them feel a part of the decision making process therefore they were able to go off to their friends and social networking sites and further promote our film to attract the same age group audience. Will we be using social media sites such as Facebook and twitter to give us a good platform to market our product, as many young people use social media site due to digitalisation. This will form the basis and attract the right audience for our film. On these sites will have the cover to our film. In order to attract our audience we will use bright large font of positive reviews to our film, this will make it more eye-catching to attract the target audience. We will have the female character on the front cover with the male in the background looking onto her. The female will then have eye-contact with the person looking at the cover; this will therefore reinforce how the female is unaware making people want to watch it. And it will align them with her and show she is the main character. We will also make our website look engaging and eye-catching. The cover photo is also of the female and she looks distressed. This make the audience question why she is like this and hopefully attract them to wanting to watch it. The colour design is black and white and this ensures that it lives up to the thriller genre showing that the film will be creepy and suspenseful due to the unknown nature and enigma highlighting further key conventions of the thriller genre.

4 Distribution and Construction
What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product? A film distribute is a company that markets films, and sets dates for when the film is realized, making sure that the film gathers as much attention and promotion as possible in order for the film and the distributor company to make a profit. As our film is a low budget film we would not be using the distributes that deal with big blockbuster films such as universal, Warner brothers, or 20th century fox. After doing some research a film distributor that would fit our low budget and independent film would be ‘Wrap film distributor’, this is because they specifies in independent English films and distribute films that deserve promoting. And even though they have been low budget films have gone on to be successful for example films like ‘four lions’ and ‘this is England’. We also choose ‘Wrap film distributer’ as during distribution, our film will be mainly UK based, appearing in British cinemas mainly in big towns and small cities, instead of larger cities with multiplex cinemas. This is because of our films small status, and also we may not be able to gain viewing rights in larger Cinemas. There were many things that we have learnt from this process that involve technology. This includes having trouble with the final cut express and not being able to move our film onto another desktop. We managed to resolve this after a few days as we finally realised that we had to change the format of the film in order for it to show on the other device. Another problem we had was sound. While filming and being outdoors we were unable to hear dialogue between the two actors, this therefore made the film seem cheap and unorganised due to the wind and distracting sounds of cars and echoing. We were then able to find a microphone which helped a lot and managed to pick up what the characters were saying without hearing the other distracting noises in the background, ensuring that people were focused on the film rather than the surroundings.
