I can identify the main idea in a multi-paragraph text, as well as find the main idea in a single paragraph of a multi-paragraph text.
I can use non-fiction text features to help me better understand what I am reading.
Writing Focus Standard(s):
I can write an informative paragraph using facts and information from gathered sources.
We continue our habitats study by reading a story called, “Habitats Around the World.”

A HUGE thank you for an amazing week of parent/teacher conferences last week. We loved meeting each of you and discussing our wonderful students!

Math Focus:
We will continue to study money this week by looking at equivalent amounts using coins and bills! For example, students will be asked to make $26 two different ways using bills. It will continue to be helpful for students to have “hands on” money experiences at home by counting coins and/or paying for items using cash!
