Teach Information and Technology literacy Leads information literacy instruction including evaluation and analysis of the credibility, relevance and currency of information, teaches students to be safe, ethical and responsible digital citizens Advocate for Reading Establish and model a powerful culture of reading in the school community, motivates and guides students to read for enjoyment and understanding Manage Information and Services Provides open and equitable access to resources, technology and information for the whole school community, manages resources to support teaching and learning

9 Further still… Within 5 years we will have a vibrant Library Advisory Committee comprised of teacher librarian, principal, and teachers to contribute to a decision on library functions based on school goals and student needs.

Select 2 standards per grade level, based on Power 9 Students will have comprehensive instruction in the Big 6 Create/give assessments that show mastery of these select standards Comprehensive assessment, rubrics for each standard Report student learning and attach to student report card, Grade/mastery of standard will be communicated by line item on report card
