NSNA Disaster Relief fund for Nursing Students
Many NSNA members continue to write and call to ask what NSNA can do to help nursing students in areas impacted by Tropical Storm Harvey. In 2005 the Foundation of the National Student Nurses Association created a Disaster Relief Fund. The Funds are distributed as grants to the nursing programs and may be used to assist students to replace books, supplies (uniforms, stethoscopes, etc.), or to assist schools of nursing in replacing library books, computers, or any other vital equipment necessary for educating their student nurses. Contributions to Disaster Relief Fund Funding for the Disaster Relief Fund for Nursing Students was raised from NSNA members and faculty through personal contributions and at fund-raising events. If you would like to contribute to the Disaster Relief Fund please click here to make your tax-deductible contribution. Please share this with your peers and others who are concerned about the plight of nursing students impacted by the storm.
