Snapchat now has more active daily users than Twitter.
Snapchat has 150 million active daily users by June 2016, up from 110 million six months ago.
Before the boom, Snapchat’s traffic has declined for several months.

Twitter’s user growth has clearly started to slow down, and that continues to hurt the business.
The company lowered its expectations for the current quarter, sending its stock down as much as 12 percent.
User growth is clearly an issue. Twitter now has 320 million monthly active users, up just four million over the last quarter

7. Future of news?
New York Times: The newspaper company said it will assemble a team of “visual storytelling experts” to produce the content for Snapchat.
Facebook: The Stories tool -- nearly identical to a feature Facebook-owned Instagram added in lets people cobble together photos, video snippets and effects into short narratives that disappear after a day. It will appear as a row of circles on the top of the news feed, with your closest friends shown first.

8. Glance Journalism
Some people say this is glance journalism. Unlike Facebook or Twitter, Snapchat isn’t designed to drive traffic to a website or blog. The app lacks the ability to include links or take you outside the app. Use multimedia to draw interest and go beyond headlines. With good content, you may naturally see more traffic going to your other spaces.

13. Workflow
Plan: Like other video stories snapchat story requires strategic planning. Make a small storyboard. Include introductory snaps, transition snaps, title snaps, closing snaps and “meat of the story” snaps.
Experiment. Even serious news accounts and stories benefit from drawings, emojis, filters and coloring. Keep people’s attention by taking advantage of the medium’s features.
Edit: Before you post, triple check your captions. You can delete snaps, but you can’t edit them after they’re posted. Take a lot of snaps, put them in the story, then go back and use the best ones. Editing helps ensure that the narrative is coherent.

14. Storing and exporting your Snapchat story
Make use of the new feature, Snapchat Memory. It will be stored in memory and camera roll of your cell phone. You can export from Memory by or and other Cloud storage. The Snapchat video will be stored as MP 4 file. You know the rest to export the story to Youtube. The story will be downloaded as a single vertical video file.

15. Saving your entire story
Take a Snap and add to your Story: Tap the on the bottom of the screen to add your Snap to your Story (and if it is your first time creating a Story tap 'Add' to confirm you want to post to your Story).
Launch Snapchat from your home screen and tap on the smaller white circle underneath the shutter button to access Memories. Tap stories to access your saved snaps.
To save your entire Story please follow the below steps:
Go to the Stories screen.
Swipe up from the camera to access Memories. First-time users keep in mind the feature is opt-in. After opting in, the first thing the app will do is ask if you want to import existing snaps.
There are three main sections where you can share photos within Memories: Snaps, Stories and Camera Roll.
Camera Roll shows all the photos stored locally on your device. This is where you can find and add photo or video you took outside of Snapchat.

16. How to add music
Snapchat allows the music on your phone to play when the app is open. Turn on your favorite song from your music app of choice, start recording your Snap and you’ll instantly have a soundtrack, directly on your Snap. Think of using music as you would in a movie, to add drama, excitement, or sadness.
