1 Downloading the ‘Expenses App’ onto your iPad and how to use it

2 Downloading a QR Reader
Go to App Store In Search, type 'QR Reader' 'Get' this one (it’s free)

3 Scan QR code

4 Once scanned, this will appear
Press 'Get‘ (where the cloud or open is in the picture)

5 You will now have the Expenses app Installed on your ipad

6 Open the Expenses App.... Enter your Expenses details as you would do on the desktop version Company ID:NHSBT Username: Assignment Number If you swipe ‘REMEMBER DETAILS’ tab- it will remember the company ID and username ONLY

7 Accept the terms It may also flag up to you to allow access to the camera-press ‘Allow’ as then you will be able to upload your receipts.

8 If you have already made claims this month, this will appear, click onto the ‘Current claims’....

9 Name It will display your Current Claim number and name ...

10 It will then display a list of all the claims that you have made in this period...

11 When you are in your current claims, press the ‘+’ button to add another claim.

12 This will then bring up the screen similar to what you have on the desktop version. If you start typing in- ‘NHSBT’ or ‘Non NHSBT’ that will give you a drop down option. If you tap the ‘Reason’ box this will also provide a drop down menu

13 When you have clicked on the ‘Expense Item’ box (noted on previous slide) you will be given these options... Each individual category has sub categories so select the appropriate one for the claim

14 For business miles, it will automatically fill in your registered vehicle
To add the mileage, ‘Tap to add journey steps’

15 Click the ‘+’ button

16 As per desktop version, complete the postcodes (it also has the favourites section saved)

17 To Add mileage through GPRS/3G/4G
If you click ‘Mileage’ at the bottom of the page.... ..it will take you to this page

18 This allows you to click ‘Start’ when starting your journey and ‘Finish’ when you arrived at your destination. This may be good if you're going to have to do a detour and will have extra mileage that wouldn't be picked up on the expenses system. It will clock your mileage that you do..hopefully.

19 Adding Receipts to a claim
First of all you will need to raise a claim like on the previous slide for parking ticket, receipt etc..

20 On the claim, swipe left and it will display the boxes as displayed
On the claim, swipe left and it will display the boxes as displayed... Click the ‘More’ button

21 This will now give you the option to upload the receipts with your camera..it will take you straight to the camera..

22 Previous Claims and receipts....
You can even add receipts for already submitted claims by following the previous steps. You just need to find the claim you wish to attach the receipt for.
