They are informed that each sheet has a section for a collaborative task; it is, for partners to write comments and suggestions about possible mistakes and how to improve the paragraphs and that is the second part of the lesson and they were not allowed to write comments until the teacher provided instructions to do so. Third: students start to write their paragraphs about a typical food from our country and a paragraph about a typical food from a different part of the world. They receive instructions about the font they are using in order to keep working in order and only in their corresponding pages *Topic chosen to write about was based on current vocabulary of the unit in the course book (Food) *Students are encouraged to read about food around the world before they start typing ( estimate time 20 minutes *Teacher monitors from the computer master or wallk through the aisles in the classroom

Forth: After students have written their two short paragraphs, they are ready to start the collaborative work. They are asked to pair up so the teacher can assign a corresponding checker to each one. The teacher gives instructions about how to write suggestions and comments. Students begin writing comments in the corresponding partners ‘section, about punctuation, grammar issues among other mistakes that they consider that need to be revised. They used the tools provided by word. (Highlighting adding comments etc) Fifth: Teacher monitors the process and assign them to write a final version as homework for their two paragraphs, taking into account partners suggestions and teacher´s general suggestions and final feedback. As students are able to give and receive suggestions to and from a partner, and able to see the whole document with all the paragraphs and comments, they can reflect about the writing process and gain skills in order to foster their own writing skills. *The teacher can set them free to choose their partners to provide comments or decide the pairs. *(In order to keep track of the collaborative section, It is good to keep a chart with the corresponding students´name checkers )

Making them to write about a different food/dish, they had to read and investigate much more”.
