2 Introduction Welcome, Super Users! You have been identified as a Super User at your practice, which makes you a key member in the success of the valued based initiatives. As a Super User, you’ve been given access to the IMAT Solutions product to help you with your goals. You’ll be working with IMAT’s User Interface (UI) to navigate through the information.

3 Introduction What is IMAT? IMAT (Integrated Medical Analytics Technology) is a solution that has been developed to address the ever more complex and demanding needs of today’s healthcare providers and practitioners. It is a new approach to ingesting, storing, and processing massive amounts of structured and unstructured data from EHRs, lab results, physician notes, transcripts, ADTs, and more.

4 Introduction Benefits: We are excited to present to you the benefits of using IMAT. It will help you solve issues and make your life a little easier. This tool is designed to help you be successful by: Providing the right data Providing it at the right time Providing it to the right person in order to make the right decisions Remember: IMAT is a HABIT (Healthcare Analytical Business Intelligence Tool)

7 1. System Access

8 Logging into the system Notes:
System Access Logging into the system Go to in your browser. Enter your username. Enter your password. Press the Log in button or the Enter key. Notes: Note: Supported browsers are Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer 10 or newer. Reiterate that the browser must be one of the supported browsers. It cannot be a browser which is embedded into Lotus Notes or anything like that. If you run IMAT Solutions on an iPad or other tablet, the functionality will be limited.

9 System Access Notes: Accessing context sensitive help
Go to the drop-down menu by your username. Press Help. A user guide for the UI will open. Use the navigation on the left to navigate throughout the document or to select other user guides. Each UI has its own user guide and is accessed the same way. Notes: See for more information.

10 2. Dashboards

11 Dashboards Using the Dashboard Notes:
After logging in, the dashboard is used to navigate to default reports, the documentation center, available IMAT modules, and more. Notes: This is a sample dashboard only. User dashboard tiles will vary based on default dashboard assignments. See for more information.

12 Choosing the Dashboard Notes:
Dashboards Choosing the Dashboard Each user will have at least one dashboard. If multiple dashboards are assigned, access them through the drop-down menu in the top left. Notes: See for more information.

13 Dashboards Adding a Tile Notes:
Users may modify their dashboards if permissions have been granted. Click Add Tile in the top right corner. Select the desired tile. Add the information as required and desired (report, URL, title, size, icon, color, or custom image URL). Press Save. Notes: Note: You may add a tile to your personal dashboard only, not the group dashboard. The tiles depicted here are samples only. Tiles available to individual users will vary. 14 Modifying the Dashboard Notes:
Dashboards Modifying the Dashboard Press Edit next to Add Tile in the top right corner. Move the tile to the desired location. Press the gear and use the steps 2-4 on the previous slide to modify the look of the tile. Click Done in the top right corner. 15 3. Reports

16 Reports Accessing Reports Notes:
Click the Report Builder icon, , on the dashboard. Locate the report to run in the Compound tab. Run the report by clicking the green play button. Or click on the report icon from the dashboard. Notes: Two ways of accessing reports: from the Saved Reports list or from the dashboard. See for more information.

17 Changing Report Parameters Notes:
Reports Changing Report Parameters Run the report by clicking the green play button. Complete each parameter as prompted.* Click Run with parameters. It is possible to print the results if the results have been printed to the output tab. To do so, press Ctrl+P on a PC, Command+P on a Mac, or Print in your browser. *Parameters and layout will change depending on the report you are running. Notes: See for more information.

18 Reports Saving Results Notes: Run the report.
Press Save Results found at the top right of the report. Enter a name for the results—the field will autofill with the same name as the report if the report is already saved. Enter a description of the results. Press Save. Notes:

20 Results Panel Using Results Panel Notes:
After reports have been run and the results saved, you can access those results at any time. Choose the Results tab. Click the green play button. Delete the results by pressing the red button. Notes: Deleted results cannot be recovered. See for more information.

22 Accessing the Report Builder Notes:
Click the Report Builder tile. Verify the Single tab is selected. Click on the Builder tab. Notes: See for more information.

23 Adding Report Data Fields Notes:
Report Builder Adding Report Data Fields Click Add Fields. Check the box next to the desired fields for the report. Notes: See for more information.

24 Using Check for Records Notes:
Report Builder Using Check for Records Check for records provides an immediate notification before clicking Build whether or not the entered search results are found. Turn on Check for records by selecting the checkbox at the bottom of the Builder panel. A red banner indicates there are no results found while the green indicates there are results found. Notes: See for more information.

25 Viewing Search Results Notes:
Report Builder Viewing Search Results The results of the report will be displayed in the panel to the right of the builder. Notes: See for more information.

26 Viewing Patient Detail Notes:
Report Builder Viewing Patient Detail From the results panel, click on any record you wish to see in more detail. A patient tab will open. From there you can see the demographics, original records, details on concepts or procedures, and codes. Notes: See for more information.

27 Report Builder Exporting Results Notes:
It is possible to export report results for downloading. This is available for single queries. Locate and press the Export button in the top right corner of the results panel. Fill out the Export window. Click Export. There is an option to name the file. A prompt will appear to notify you to go to the Results tab to view the exported file. Notes: **Note that the exported file will contain PHI. By exporting data to your local system, you acknowledge that you have the right to view this data. CSV = raw data file which can be imported in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. All single queries can be both saved and exported. Compound queries can be saved. See for more information.

28 Report Builder Viewing Charts Notes:
View charts to get a visual representation of the search results. Click View and choose Chart. Choose the Chart Type (if default is not desired). Click the desired Options found to the right of the charts to change the data being displayed. Unclick any options you do not wish to use. Notes: See for more information.

29 Report Builder Drilling Down Notes:
Faceting, or drilling down, allows you to look closer at the breakdown of individual sections of a chart. Click on specific chart item for more detailed data. Notes: Note: Refer to Step 3 on SLIDE # 28 to add or remove the options being displayed. See for more information.
