7. License Renewal
Every 4 years for your standard license (probationary 1 year)

If you do not renew license for 3 years you will be required to retake the knowledge, vision, and road tests

8. Vehicle Registration
If a motorist moves into this state:

Initial Registration on New car is:

After 4 years or on used vehicles registration must be done every year.

–Show Proof of Ownership (Title)

-Must be at least 17 years old

9. Inspection Done every 2 years (5 years for a new car)
Must present license, registration, insurance card
If you buy a used car you have 14 days from time of registration to get inspected.

One RED decal must be displayed on each plate in the top left corner
Lost or Damaged Plates must be reported to Police within 24 hours and the MVC.
