2. Hold-to-run push buttons
A stairlift has “hold to run” push buttons which will make the stairlift stop immediately if the button is released.
A stairlift has “an Emergency push button” to
activate if necessary that will immediately stop the stairlift.

3. Travel speed is maximum 0,15 metres per second
Travel speed is maximum 0,15 metres per second. It does not travel automatically
The speed of a Stairlift must not exceed 0,15 m/s.
The slow speed will limit the stopping distance of a moving Stairlift to a maximum of 15 mm.
Stairlifts do not travel automatically.

Sensitive safety edges protection are mounted on the the platform
Sensitive safety edge protection is mounted on the body of the Stairlift,
Sensitive safety surface is mounted under the platform
