5 My Father and Your Father
In the Old Testament, God is called father: 9 Times (4 of which are prophecy) In the New Testament 82 times (excluding Jesus’ personal words) De 32:6 "Do you thus repay the LORD, O foolish and unwise people? Is not He your Father who has bought you? He has made you and established you. Isa 63:16 Doubtless You are our Father, Though Abraham was ignorant of us, And Israel does not acknowledge us. You, O LORD, are our Father; Our Redeemer from Everlasting is Your name. 2Sa 7:14 "I will be a father to him and he will be a son to Me; when he commits iniquity, I will correct him with the rod of men and the strokes of the sons of men, Ps 89:26 He shall cry to Me, 'You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation.‘ Ps 103:13 Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him. "And I said: 'You shall call Me, "My Father," And not turn away from Me.‘

6 My Father and Your Father
The New Covenant is one with a Father Jesus was going to OUR Father He will mediate there – 1 Timothy 2:5 1Ti 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,

7 Jesus Said: So Jesus said to them again, "Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.“ And when He had said this, He breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit.” John 20:21-22

But what about the Promise? Acts 1:4-5 Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you heard of from Me; for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." 1Ti 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus,
