In search of job opportunities nearly 2 million Portuguese left the country.
Mostly young men with low education.
Destinations:

Germany;
Luxembourg.
Consequences:
- Rural areas began to be deserted;
- Families were separated.

Now, the emigrants are mainly high educated young people of both sexes!

21. But, until 2009, Portugal also received many immigrants looking for a job.

22. After Many retired, especially English and German, come for our country, looking for good weather and opportunities to try different sports such as golf.
Their favorite region is the Algarve!
