1 Depth of Field Objective: to photograph a subject with a foreground and background, giving a better understanding of aperture and its relation to depth of field. Depth of field refers to the range of distance that appears acceptably sharp. It varies depending on camera type, aperture and focusing distance. The smaller the opening (F-stop 22 or 16) more will appear sharp (in focus)

3 Assignment: Refer to the project handout for details. Take 2 pictures of the same subject 1 at a small opening f-stop 1 at a large opening f-stop
