Please note: Before proceeding with the application, be sure to ask the member is he or she already has a Good Sam Camping World Visa , Rec Rewards Visa or Coast to Coast Visa. If the customer says yes they have an existing card, please automatically decline the use of application process. The Comenity Capital Bank process is as follows: Resort logs into 2. From the Good Sam Camping World Visa Credit Card link, select Step 1: -Print the Good Sam Camping World Visa Credit Card Terms & Conditions and paper application 3. 5. Online application provides instant approval, pending or existing account message to the resort. If approved, a “Resort Copy” and “Member Copy” will be available to print. -Provide the “Member Copy to the member. This includes the approval, APR and credit limit specific to this member. -Use the “Resort Copy” that includes the member’s temporary account number and expiration date into the Resort Point of Sale system to complete the purchase. After completing the transaction this document MUST be shredded/destroyed. -The temporary account number is only valid for the initial purchase at the Resort that day. The member will have to receive the credit card in the mail before another purchase can be made. -If a pending message is received, further processing is needed and an alternative form of tender should be collected to complete the purchase. Comenity Capital Bank will contact the customer via mail regarding the application status. -If an existing message is received, the member already has an existing Good Sam Camping World Visa and is not eligible for the special introductory rate. Instruct the member to use their existing account to earn REC REWARDS points or provide another form of payment to complete the purchase. Credit Application Step 4 Approved Upon approval, you will receive the Member’s credit limit, APR, Temporary Account Number and Expiration Date. Please click the “Print” button. The first page printed is the Customer’s Copy and they must have this along with the Terms & Conditions before the transaction can be processed. The second page is the Resort’s copy that will be used to run the transaction through your POS system. After completing the transaction through your POS system. What else do you need to know?
Is there a minimum or maximum amount that can be requested? There is no minimum amount but the maximum request is $12,000. When can the member expect to receive the credit card? Upon approval, the card should be received in the mail within 7 to 10 business days. Does the member have to sign anything for the Good Sam I Camping World Visa® ? Yes. Resort Associates are required to print the current Terms & Conditions and application data collection form for the Coast Affiliates website and provide to the member prior to completing the online application. The member must complete and sign the application data collection form before the online application can be started. The Terms & Conditions are to be kept by the member for their records. After the application is entered the completed and signed application data collection forms must be sent to Comenity Capital Bank in a weekly batch. NOTE: If a member disputes a charge and Comenity Capital Bank does not have a completed and signed application data form for the member the resort will be required to provide a full refund to the member. If approved, the member will be provided with a document that states their APR and their credit limit. Once they have received that information, the sale can be run through the Resorts Point of Sale Terminal. The member will need to sign for the credit card transaction as they would with any other credit card. Are the Terms & Conditions "generic" or specific to the member? The Terms & Conditions are generic for the credit card program. Upon approval, the "Customer Copy” that is to be printed and provided to the member is specific to the member and includes their APR and credit limit. REMINDER: They must have the Terms & Conditions, APR and credit limit in hand prior to the Resort processing the transaction on their new account. What is a resort to do if there is a question regarding the application process or in the event that the Good Sam I Camping World Visa® online application is not available? If you cannot access the online instant credit application or receive an error during the application process, please call the Coast Helpline at to report the issue (reference the Troubleshooting/Reporting a Problem Process document). Please note: The Coast Helpline is for issues with the application process only. Once an application is approved, any issues need to be reported to Comenity Capital Bank per the Troubleshooting procedures as Coast does not have access to credit card account information. IMPORTANT-Under no circumstances is a resort to contact the Coast Helpline regarding "Pended" decisions. If the application website is down, is there a manual alternative to submitting the credit card application? No, there is no manual process available.
