1. Stay on Green at lunchtime
Consequences
If children continue to make a poor choice, their name may be moved to red.
If this happens, there will be a consequence. They will need to complete a reflection sheet in the class reflection area or somewhere else within the school. When a poor choice is more serious, a child can move straight to red and their reflection will always be outside of the classroom.
Following the reflection, children can start making good choices to get back to green.
Stay on Green
Whole class
Each class has a green point total to aim for that is added to each day. If a pupil stays on green or above all day, they automatically get a green point towards the whole class total. They can also collect green tokens from other members of staff throughout the day and in other parts of the school. When they have achieved their total they have ‘Green Time’ which will be a whole class fun activity to celebrate their success.
Stay on Green is our whole school behaviour system that helps us all to make good choices about our behaviour and be noticed and rewarded when we make good choices.

Stay on Green at lunchtime
Children are able to earn green points at lunchtime. Whilst warnings and consequences will be given, the class teachers make the decision how this impacts on the classroom colour chart. 4 1

2. How does Stay on Green work?
Each class has a colour chart in their classroom.
Each day is a ‘fresh start’ and children move back to green. Any child on bronze, silver or gold will stay on this colour until the end of the week.
Every Monday – all children start with their name on green.
The aim is to Stay on Green all day.
Gold
If children achieve a gold, they will be allowed to go to a senior member of staff to tell them how they achieved it. Their name will be written in the gold book and they will receive a gold leaf to put on the golden leaf tree in assembly
If children make good choices about their behaviour, they will stay on green or even have the chance to move their name to bronze, silver or gold
By staying on green, they earn a green point for their class. Children also earn green points throughout the day by demonstrating ‘green behaviours’ On bronze, silver or gold, they achieve a special sticker.
Warnings
If children make poor choices with their behaviour, their name will be moved to the blue or yellow warning.
This is just a reminder that they need to correct their behaviour and if they start making good choices, their name will be moved back up to green.
Should a child who is on bronze or silver make a poor choice, they will be moved down to blue. 2 3
