Fine Arts & CTE Foreign Language Visual Art Chorus, Band, Orchestra Dance, Theater Teaching as a Profession Business Education Marketing Technology Education NJROTC Maxwell &/or Grayson programs Chinese French German Latin Spanish Levels 1 – AP are available in all languages 2 years of the same FL is required by most colleges/universities Spanish for Native Speakers I & II is also available

9 Visual Art Course Offerings
Current options for SY 2017/18 Visual Arts I & II are required for upper level art courses Course consists of 2D art content for 9 weeks and 3D art content for 9 weeks Students receive 2 final course grades during 1 semester

12 Closing Thoughts to Consider
What do they want to do after high school and what classes can they take now to help get them there? Choose courses that highlight their natural strengths and interests Make sure there is a balance between school commitments and extra-curricular activities Do not schedule them for what you think they can do, but for what they have done in the past Or based on what other siblings/friends have done
