Food Waste in Supermarkets.
Globally supermarkets throw out 40% of useable food every year. But did you know Canada wastes 31 billion dollars on food every year. Unbelievably we found out that some bakeries in the supermarkets scrape off fruit on tarts when it goes off, then just replaces the fruit.
3
France Supermarkets. In France they have made it illegal for there supermarkets to throw out any food that may still be able used. French supermarkets also sell bruised fruit. And provide it to charity.

The Difference Between Used By and Best Before.
On some Items you'll find a best before date and on other items you’ll find a used by, But there's a difference.
6
Used By Date A used by date is something you should NOT! Eat after its date has passed. Because it may cause illness or diseases.
7
Best Before Date. A best before date you CAN eat after it’s date, because it’s not off it’s just not as good as it’s original condition. But obviously if after a while mold starts to form DON’T eat it.
