4 What you can expect from me!
Grades will be in PowerSchool every Friday I will be available every Thursday after school until 3:30 Monthly calendar Returned work will have feedback I care about YOU and your success. I am here for you!

5 Classroom Rules Bathroom – you will have one emergency bathroom pass per quarter. If you need to sharpen your pencil get up quietly and do so Stay seated at all times Be respectful during discussions Follow device rules of the day Keep our classroom clean

6 Bring Your Own Device - BYOD
There will be lessons and activities where you will be allowed to use your device Green, Yellow, Red zone We will be getting a class set of devices if you don’t have your own You are responsible for your personal device Devices will remain on the desk at all times – if not being used it will be kept “docked” on the desk facing down.

9 CNN Student News Why do current events matter in a WORLD history class? Pay attention After the segment you and your partner will come up with a news- paper title for the events. CNN

10 Identity Chart Who am I? How do we identify?
Write your name (first and last) in the center of your paper and circle it. Come up with at least 10 things you identify with that make you who you are You will have 10 minutes to complete your chart, be ready to share with your partner with the timer end.

11 Unit 1 Vocab – due Friday What the heck is mnemonic?
This a a way to help you remember the vocab through your own personal ideas.
