2 Traditions of meals and typical dishes
Morning in the United Kingdom begins with traditional English breakfast: Flakes with milk Fried eggs with bacon Haricot in tomato sauce Paste with bread Рorridge with fruits

3 Breakfast is generally a bigger meal than you have on the Continent, though some English people like 'continental' breakfast of rolls, butter and coffee.

4 Lunch   All Englishmen generally have lunch at about one o'clock. The businessman in London usually finds it impossible to come home for lunch; but if the Englishman is making lunch at home he has cold meat (left over probably from yesterday's dinner), potatoes, salad.

5 The lunch in Great Britain represents

6 For dessert after dense lunch they eat a pudding or fruit to follow
 and some people like a glass of light beer with lunch

7 Five o’clock tea The well-known British tradition is “five o’clock tea” in the evening and also jam and cream are observed for some people. to which rolls with raisin like Easter pies move

8 Tea making in England is art
  Tea making in England is art. First of all, the hostess rinses the teapot with boiling water (this is called 'warming the pot') before adding four or five teaspoons of tea. The amount of tea varies, of course, according to the number of people. The pot is then filled with boiling water and covered by a tea-cosy  to allow the tea to infuse  for five minutes. English people seldom put lemon juice or rum in their tea, they usually have it with milk.

9 Dinner (or supper) In some houses dinner is the biggest meal of the day. They begin with soup, followed by fish, roast chicken, potatoes and vegetables, a sweet, fruit and nuts.

People in the United Kingdom prefer vegetable cream soups For the second course British love stakes from beef sirloin, different options of pro-frying as a garnish to which potatoes or vegetables are served. For example, with tomato to which bread and butter are given.

11 Sunday Roast Carvery Furthermore, British have a tradition of Sunday dinner of Sunday Roast Carvery which is also widespread in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Canada. Within such meal, fried meat (a turkey, beef, chicken, pork or mutton) with vegetables or potatoes are served. Yorkshire pudding (the traditional pudding of the county Yorkshire prepared and given to the main course, with a sauce and roast beef).

12 Fish and chips  English have a special taste for fish and chips. Everybody seems to have fish and chips at home at least once a week and every English town has in its side streets the shop. The pieces of fish are dipped in batter  and then dropped into deep boiling oil for a few minutes. They come out crisp and hot and then are wrapped in grease-proof paper  and handed to the customer to take away. As for some shops, they are small cafes where you can eat your fish and chips without taking them home.

13 The list of popular English dishes consist of fish (often a fried cod) and chips which are on sale in fish and chips shops: Аpple pie Roast beef Cottage pie or shepherd's pie Cracker with cheese and salt Cornish pasty Scotch egg

14 In different regions of Great Britain there are delicacies:
Wales — a lamb in mint sauce

15 Scotland - porridge with meat and spices

16 England — stakes stake with blood stake from pork

17 Northern Ireland — a trout
baked trout fried trout on a grill with sauce
