3 EXPLORE Reflection On a separate sheet of paper, please write answers to the following questions. There were four sections of the test: English, Math, Reading, and Science. Which of the four sections was the easiest for you? Why? Which of the sections was the hardest for you? Why?

4 EXPLORE Reflection On a separate sheet of paper, please write answers to the following questions. 3. Do you feel the time limits for each section were appropriate? Why or why not? 4. From 1-10 (1 is lowest, 10 is the highest), how well do you think you performed on the EXPLORE test?

5 The Venn Diagram Two columns: One on each side of the page.
Input characteristics of both Rainsford and General Zaroff. Put two big interlocking circles in the middle of the sheet. Characteristics that both Rainsford and Zaroff share? Put those in the middle, interlocking part. Characteristics that each man has by himself? Put those in the outer portions of the circle.

17 PLOT – SEQUENCE OF EVENTS
Exposition – Whitney, Rainsford/ experienced hunters, STI, Rainsford stranded on island

18 RISING ACTIONS- -R finds out Zaroff hunts humans -Z bored w/hunting animals -Z appears civilized

19 RISING ACTIONS- -Z hunting humans as a game/exciting

20 CLIMAX -Rainsford is now the huntee and no longer the hunter. (When R is in tree and realizes he is Zaroff’s prey.)

21 Denouement -3 traps set by Rainsford -Z does not get caught by trap or Rainsford during the hunt. -Ivan & his dog are caught in trap

22 Denouement -Z agrees to release R if he wins the game.(If R eludes Z for 3 days.) -R jumps off cliff/Z thinks he won game and that R has died in jump

23 Conclusion -Z celebrates w/dinner/wine/relaxed -Z in bedroom, caught by surprise by R behind curtain

24 Conclusion -R/Z of them is going to the dogs and one is going to sleep in bed -R wins game / slept in finest bed.
