2.1 MILLION YOUTH UNDER 18 ARRESTED 1.3 MILLION DELINQUENCY CASES (17% INCREASE SINCE 1985) ANOTHER 150,000 STATUS OFFENSE CASES 400,000 ADOLESCENTS EXPERIENCE INCARCERATION EACH YEAR 200,000 UNDER 18’S TRIED AS ADULTS
