Dopamine- pleasure and pain.

Norepinephrine- alertness and learning.
Epinephrine- also known as adrenaline, gets your body up and moving
Endorphins- fights pain and stress, related to exercise, give you a good feeling.
Cortisol- stress
Chemicals that help transmit signals from neuron to neuron

6. Nervous System Parts
Central Nervous System or CNS consists of the brain and the spinal cord.
Brain is the command center- controls most body functions.

Spinal Cord is a long bundle of neurons that relays messages btwn CNS and PNS
Peripheral Nervous System (PNS)
means “located away from the center”
Nerves that connect CNS to all parts of the body.
PNS carries messages to the CNS.
Two parts- somatic and autonomic.
