Children, staff and governors fully subscribe to the school ethos, which is built on the principles of:

KS1: Art, Lego, Superhero, clay, cooking, forest school, drama games
KS2: Cooking Crafting, Computing, Art, Sport, Sewing/Textiles, Clay Play, Board Games, Woodwork, Drama, Behaviour Zone

25. Teachers have changed year groups
Children have ownership by creating their class name
Keeps things fresh

26. READING
Parents/carers should be reading with their children every evening if possible.
Reading records should be signed and returned to school each day. The class with the most reads will win the weekly reading trophy.

27. Homework
Homework is simplified and consistent across the school. For those more creative children and those who want to do a little more, , there will be a termly creative homework set by Mr Dax.
Home work is given out on a Friday and collected in on a Wednesday. Homework is: Reading, Spelling and Times table practise. Parents can see the weekly test results in the back of the homework book.

28. Belvoirdale Bullions
Every half term, children can spend their hard earned bullions in the Belvoirdale Bullion Shop.

-I feel the school is now a “family” and my son feels part of a team.
-Wonderful school-thank you to all of the staff!
-As parents we are really happy that our son attends Belvoirdale
-Excellent teaching, excellent support
-Extra-curricular activities such as after school clubs have improved 100%
