2 3 Parts: Poster: Picture/Drawing of skill, labeling of the bones, muscles, and joints involved in the skill Paper: Name of skill, why you chose it, what bones muscles & joints are involved, and how each of the muscles work in the skill Presentation: 2-3 min. explaining what the skill is, why you chose it, what muscles are involved, and how each of the muscles are used in the skill

3 Poster- Requirements:
1 Picture- OF SKILL Labeled bones, muscles, joints involved in skill

4 Poster- Suggestions: Include pictures of skeleton and muscle diagrams, for easy labeling Label joints on the picture of the skill Easy and clear to see

5 HINT, HINT, HINT!!!! If you have an upper body skill, all of the bones, muscles, and joints from the hips up will be used! If you have a lower body skill, all of the bones, muscles, and joints from the ribs down will be used!

6 Paper- 1st Paragraph: Name of the skill and why you decided to choose it.

8 Paper- 2nd Paragraph: Write the bones, muscles, & joints that are involved in the skills.

11 EXAMPLE of 1 muscle attachment
The biceps brachii is attached to the scapula, radius, and ulna bones.

12 Paper- 4th Paragraph Write how each muscle works in the skill

13 EXAMPLE of 2 muscle explanations
The biceps brachii muscle allows flexion at the shoulder and at the elbow. When throwing a baseball, you flex your arm at the shoulder and the elbow when lifting the ball up above and behind your head, right before the throw. The triceps brachii allows extension at the shoulder and elbow. As you are throwing the ball, you extend the arm at the shoulder and elbow to straighten the arm as you release the ball.
