3. Writer’s Workbench: NewsU
Enroll in “The Writer’s Workbench: 50 tools you can use” under the Editing portion of the course list for NewsU.org.
Read each of the four sections (nuts and bolts, special effects, blueprints, useful habits) in detail, taking notes where needed.
For the first three sections, show three sentences you rework according to each section of tips. (Rule: old sentence, new sentence) This means 9 reworked sentences total.
For the last section, simply take brief notes. This course will appear as part of a Feature unit test

4. Photo requirement At least 2 candid photos turned in by Monday

Person gives you photo of them doing their ‘angle’ activity (ex. Riding horses if story is about horses)
You take candid of them at school doing everyday things

Candids are taken by you of them doing their angle activity
