IoT parcel tracking solution for logistics enterprises
The IoT parcel tracking solution can help unlock new levels of business insight, operational process efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction. This solution is built on the following Azure managed services: Azure IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Service Bus, Service Fabric, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Data Factory, HDInsight, PowerBI. These services run in a high availability environment, patched and supported, allowing you to focus on your solution vs. the environment to run them in.

Target this solution to logistics enterprises comprised geographically dispersed transport fleets and critical parcel pickup & delivery timelines. Process scan events from mobile and factory devices in near real- time. Display of GPS positions of parcels on a map within a basic web based dashboard hosted in Azure Handle tours with multiple parcels and provide the location of individual parcels as an API The solution is based on Azure cloud services with a basic web-based front-end accessible through a browser.

Real-time distribution information
Customer tracking Smart connected devices that deliver real time location information to be consumed by customers Process improvement Real-time detection of duplicate events that are key to internal improvements and quality of the delivery chain Future proven platform Creation of the platform and services that will be the foundation moving other mission critical services from on-premises to cloud
