1 Mr. Elliott Social Studies Class Expectations
Be in your seat and ready when the bell rings. Come to class with all required materials and supplies. All students must have IDs with them in class. Respect the teacher and classmates. Do not distract other students with unnecessary interruptions. Keep all electronics off and out of sight.

2 Class Procedures Sharpen pencils at appropriate times before class begins. Hall passes will not be issued at the beginning or end of class. The class is a “red zone” for technology. Students are to remain in their seats until the bell rings, no lining up.

3 Entering the classroom
All students will enter quietly and place their books on their own desk. If you are tardy, wait at the door for the teacher’s signal for you to enter. Check the task board for any important information. Use the time prior to the bell to prepare for the class.

4 Leaving the class The teacher will dismiss the class.
Walk out of the room quietly. If you need to meet privately with the teacher, do so when other students are gone. We do not line up! Work right up the bell. Clean up your mess before leaving.

5 Basic class style Students are expected to be serious about the learning opportunities. Students are expected to stay in their seats. Students are expected to raise their hands before speaking.
