The main categories of computer hardware are:
Mainframe computers
Personal Computers
Minicomputers
Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs)

Provides basic security for users and to the system as a whole

Java
Also know as Visual Basic and primarily used for writing PC software
Pronounced CEE Plus Plus and is used to write software for network servers and PCs
Used for business software usually for mainframes
Used for writing scientific and engineering software
Network software and all other types of computers
