5 One terabyte (1000 gbs) worth of files that can be accessed ANYTIME from ANYWHERE using any device that has Internet access What is Office 365? What’s the cloud have to do with Office 365? Office 365 is a cloud based service that offers all of the following: Students and teachers/staff can download full Office suite on 5 devices and tablets. In addition, it comes with online versions of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including Excel Surveys). Analogy between online versions of Office tools and laptop versions. Anything created in the cloud and synced to the PC will always be visible from both places, regardless of where you make the changes. OneDrive is the equivalent of the folder icon on the laptop. OneDrive tells you what files you have stored in Office 365 (cloud) and allows you to share with others. OneDrive has tons of space and allows for accessibility from everywhere, as long as you have an Internet device.

6 “The Cloud” What, exactly, is the “cloud”? It’s just another word for the Internet, which is a series of connected networks. So if you save files to your H drive and that’s on a network, then saving files to the cloud isn’t that different. But it can still be a bit scary.
