Plants are also renewable resources.

4. Why Plants are Renewable Resources?
Because they can be replanted!

5. Fish can be renewable or nonrenewable.
If people are mindful of how many fish they catch, enough fish will be left to reproduce over and over. So, with careful use, this resource will not run out.

6. Wood is renewable.
Because new trees can be planted to replace those that people cut down.

7. Nonrenewables Resources
Oil is a fossil fuel, which is nonrenewable.
People use oil at a fast pace. People cannot replace the oil they use.

8. Coal is nonrenewable.
Coal formed from plants that died many years ago. This resource will run out.
