4. WHAT IS BUZZER ? It is an easy to use mobile/web application
It is an alert and notification platform
It is a connecting platform for citizens and govt./medical authorities
It is request portal with features such as requesting :
a. Urgent Medical Help for individuals
b. Immediate fumigation for homes/neighborhoods
c. Immediate/General site inspection for breeding grounds etc.
It is a touchpoint that can help authorities narrow down probable neighborhoods having Zika outbreaks
It is an app that can curb and control the epidemic before all hell breaks loose using data analytics

It alerts the authorities about any suspected case of ZIKA
Thus, leads to quicker control of the vector disease
Anyone can use BUZZER, a simple mobile app that can run over 2G/3G networks
BUZZFEED, can help the authorities track and analyze areas/geographies and help act better

One touchpoint for the entire rural/urban population and hospitals/diagnostic centers

6. HOW TO USE BUZZER ?
User triggers the app with a single click of the BUZZER button on the mobile
The user clicks on any of the available options to request relevant authorities
The requests get geo-tagged with description to make things easier and lucid
The user gets options to mark the requests as URGENT/IMMEDIATE/GENERAL, this is the priority indicator
The requested touchpoint is recorded on the BUZZFEED, which is the govt’s incoming feed for all requests
BUZZFEED is a feed on which the govt. can act by simply clicking on the item and assigning it to govt. approved authorities
eg : Blood sample collection by medical institution assigned by the govt. or Assigning site inspection to officials to respond
site inspection requests
Everything happens transparent, and govt. gets updated about the state of affairs and the intensity of possible/ongoing
outbreaks. Lives could be saved with this proactive approach
