4. SQA Marketing Support Pack
As launched in the March International Centre Newsletter, we are pleased to inform you that the Marketing Support Pack is now available for you to access.
The Marketing Support Pack has been developed for SQA- approved centres. It describes what we do as a Marketing department and indicates how we can work in partnership with centres to develop an awareness of SQA qualifications and the services we offer. It answers the questions most frequently raised as well as providing some broad pointers to the support available.
We trust that you will find the content of this support pack useful in supporting the delivery of SQA qualifications in your centre.

SQA Ambassadors celebrates and recognises student’s remarkable efforts and which they have accomplished through their own commitment and passion.
An SQA Ambassador is an inspirational, enthusiastic and outstanding learner – who also contribute to the life of their family, community and centre.
Centre Student award. Nominate up to 3 students per annum
Open to all centres and all qualification types
Ambassadors receive: Certificate, Pin, Voucher present at centre graduation ceremonies
Provide additional perceived prestige to SQA students and graduates
Mutual PR opportunities for both the delivery centre and SQA at a local and national level

SQA has launched this international centre student award to assist delivery for the following objectives:
· Increase recognition of SQA qualifications in the delivery centre
· Provide additional perceived prestige to SQA students and graduates
· Create mutual PR opportunities for both the delivery centre and SQA

The Award Itself
Centres and qualification types
It is proposed that the International Centre Award be open to all centres and all qualification types.
It is proposed that the name for the award is the SQA Ambassador Award.
The intention is to differentiate ourselves slightly from our main competitors.
Through time we could build a roster of SQA Ambassadors, which initially can be showcased in the following ways:

The Award
The award comprises three parts.
Part 1 – a bespoke SQA certificate
Part 2 – A voucher (as relevant for local area)
Part 3 – Lapel Pin, showcasing SQA Ambassador

SQA HND Ambassadors China scheme.
SQA runs this scheme with our Chinese partner CSCSE on an annual basis.
The objective is to generate positive PR at a local and national level to support future student recruitment onto the SQA HND programme in China
Each of our China delivery centres (around 30) will be asked to select their best student to become an SQA HND Ambassador.

First page they see when they log in is the Myhome page giving a high level overview of current and certificated qualifications
If they want more detail they can click on my results where they can see unit details, SCQF info and dates

12. Homepage, from here candidates will select sign up option
3 stages:
1 – sign up using your SCN and address. Students need to know their SCN
2 SQA sends activation code to students’ address 10 minutes later
3 Log on
Homepage, from here candidates will select sign up option
They will then be asked if they want to sign up for text and (international will skip this step as it is for NQ candidates only)
They will then go back to the homepage and input their username and password to login, they will be asked to confirm their details where they should select yes
