2 What do they do? A physician must take care of patients. They do this by: Diagnosing illness Preventing illness Prescribing medication Keeping up on what new treatments are availible

3 Three Positives Helping others Education Salary
A physician must have a vast wealth of knowledge about the human body. Education A physician’s job is to make people feel better. Salary A large salary is useful, and helps to pay back college loans.

4 More Positives Practice Respect Job Opportunities:
A physician must constantly learn from experience and improve their knowledge. Respect Physicians are respected by their patients and by society. Job Opportunities: As more and more people grow old, they will need more doctors who know about aging.

5 Three Negatives Malpractice Insurance Long Hours Education
Insurance for physicians is very high, and takes away from their work to help people. Long Hours Physicians must be on call to help people at anytime. Sometimes this cuts into family time or vacation. Education Although this is a good thing, the minimum amount of education to become a Doctor is eight years of collage/ graduate school, plus internship. It can be very expensive and time consuming.
