9. Other Information
Student of the Week: Students will have a chance to share pictures and a favorite book with their classmates. They will also help with our morning meeting.
Scholastic Book Order: Sent home once a month. Great prices on books for your child.
Birthdays: Store bought treat. No cake!
Snacks: Keep snacks healthy. No candy or drinks!
Dismissal: Please send a note or if your child’s dismissal changes. I need parent permission before making a change.
Lunch with your child: Lunch is 11:58. Check in at the office and meet your child in the lunchroom.

10. New this year:
2 hour early release days
1 day each quarter
Each subject area will be shortened and students will still go to specials
Lunch time stays the same

11. How can I help my child succeed?
Stay involved and work together with me
Ask your child about school
Be sure your child gets plenty of sleep
Avoid negative comments about school
Teach responsibility for actions and school work
Read with your child

All volunteers must fill out the volunteer form and have a background check before volunteering.

2 parent volunteers (I will draw names if more than 2 volunteer. We will also be asking parent volunteers for $5)
