3 Expectations 1. Must come prepared to class with all necessary materials and books every day. 2. All homework assignments must be completed and ready to be turned in at the beginning of class. 3. Contribute to the class! Be volunteers and participate as much as possible. 4. If you need help please ask for help at that time. Don’t get left behind. I will also be available for help after school. 5. Take notes in your composition book. These will be turned in for a percentage of your grade. (The majority of class; %, will be conducted in Spanish)

Failure to follow behavior guidelines will result in detention or referral, depending on the offense. Behavior Do not interrupt your teacher or your classmates. Remain in your seats unless otherwise stated. Be prepared to work once the bell rings. SEATED and QUIETLY. Be attentive and respectful of others. Eating and chewing gum is prohibited in class. BESIDES THE ABOVE LIST OF RULES, THE STUDENTS MUST FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE SCHOOL AS STATED IN THE MANUAL.

6 Homework/Projects Homework must be at least 95% complete. Lack to do so, will result in a homework card. Students must download the Remind app to receive homework and other important updates. I will assign projects and writings in class. Some will be simply in writing and others will be oral presentations. Work done effortlessly will not be accepted. If a grade of a D or F is earned, you must redo and turn in for a better grade.

7 Absences When a student returns to class, the student must bring a re-admit slip the same day to class. Lack in doing so, the student will be sent to the office and will be marked tardy and receive a tardy card. A student has one week after the absence to turn in any missing assignments. After the week, they will not be accepted. REMINDER: It is the responsibility of the student to ask for and turn in all assignments to the teacher in order to receive credit.

8 Exams/Quizzes If the student is missing the day of an exam, they must complete it the day they return. Unless arrangements have been made with the teacher.

9 Tutoring I am typically available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday until 3:45 p.m..
