7 Grading Policy I always accept late work not daily HW assignments (only worth 1-3 points) There will be a penalty on late work Assignments will be marked in PowerSchool (late or missing) if it applies = assignment was collected Grades are earned by total accumulated points Please have students check my webpage to keep up on work if they miss class

8 Honors Criteria Student Placed in Honors using the following information: NWEA RIT scores Placement Essay Team Observation Checklist All students placed in the Honors ELA must maintain at least a letter grade of a C each term. Placement in the Honors ELA class is not guaranteed every year; students will be re- evaluated every year. The tasks that honors students complete go above and beyond or are completely redesigned
