With Lincoln’s call for volunteers Virginia, Arkansas, Tennessee and North Carolina will join the Confederacy. The Confederate capital will move to Richmond, Virginia and Jefferson Davis of Mississippi will be President.

July 21st 1861, the First Battle of Bull Run is fought. It will be a Confederate victory but the main outcome is that both sides realize this war will be a long and hard fought struggle.
