You will not be judged, nor will you judge others, based on political affiliations while in this room. It is important for us to understand the differences in the political affiliations in media and be able to recognize their bias.

5 Republican Party Believe that individuals make the best decisions

6 Democratic Party Typically left-leaning, liberal support of policies
Favors federal government support for social and economic welfare The rich should help the poor Donkey

7 Libertarian Party The individual should have complete control of their destiny and the government has no right to interfere, what- so-ever

8 Green Party Believe the government should inspire peace, ecology, social justice, and democracy

9 Liberal a person who believes that government should be active in supporting social and political change Left

10 Conservative a person who is averse to change and holds to traditional values and attitudes, typically in relation to politics. Right
